Are You Ready for the Next Level?

Introducing my new book:

Who’s Pulling My Strings? Companion Writing Journal:

A Self-discovery Adventure & Journey to Becoming Free.

I wish I’d had a map like this to guide me along the road of my journey to becoming free of being a puppet.

I am so excited about this creation! It turned out far better than I dreamed when I first decided to create it.  This workbook is a fun adventure filled with whimsical drawings – she is on the cover and you’ve seen her on my letterhead and some of my recent blogs. Because I know at times the journey of self-discovery can also become a bit intense, I have also filled it with inspirational quotes in the margins to make you want to keep you going as you are discovering your truths and writing on the blank lines provided.

Why did I create this journal?

When people read my first book, “Who’s Pulling My Strings?” the first comment I always hear is, “you have really made me think about my life!” and I can see and feel you asking yourself, “why am I the way I am?” Perfect – that was the point of writing the book. But after that, I also see that for most of you the moment of questioning passes and is quickly aborted.

We’re all making decisions and choices just to get through the tasks of our day, and many are based on beliefs formed from experiences and teachings we received in childhood. While they haven’t necessarily brought us the life we want, rarely do we give ourselves the time or opportunity to question them.

This is where my life was until about 30 years ago when one day I heard the words come out of my mouth,   “I can’t fail because then everyone will know I’m no good!”

These words spawned for me a non-negotiable journey that will never end. What a moment of awakening! These words made me willing to do “whatever it takes” to change my life and feel authentically good.

My motivation to share my journey in “Who’s Pulling My Strings” isn’t about my story – it’s about inspiring you to explore your story – to question what motivates you and your own level of feeling good. Of course I get that few people will feel as driven as I was – so I thought — why not make it easy and create a guide for you to take your own journey of self-discovery?

Here are a few questions to ask yourself:

·       Everyone wants to feel good – at least I believe we do, don’t we? Yet, rarely, do we stop and ask yourself the question, “Do I feel good?” Or, “Who’s pulling my
strings?”
Or, another favorite metaphor of mine, “Who’s driving the bus?” Am I in the driver’s seat or riding in the back of the bus?

·       What do I really believe, or am I still running with the beliefs I took on in my youth and never questioned?”

·       You get glimpses every now and then of your light in front of you and say there is more, I am more – what am I going to do about it?

I invite you to order your copy and get started. Both the original, “Who’s Pulling My Strings?” and The Companion Workbook are available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The workbook is 8½” x 11” with lines wide enough to make writing easy. One more thing — The Companion Workbook is a stand alone — you don’t have to read the first book to “get it.”

Ready? It’s Your Turn . . .!

Mardi, I’m so excited you created the workbook. It’s always easier to have that and dedicated time considering different aspects of life and how it impacts us. Can’t wait to use it!

When I started this project a year ago, I had no idea it would turn out like this! So glad you like it and can’t wait to get feedback on the process of using it.

Needless to say, I can’t believe I watched this whole process with you. I’m so proud of the person you are now!
Of course, now that you are a famous book writer, I hope we will still be the BFF’s of the longest duration!! ha.
And don’t call me your “oldest” friend. ha.
Love, and best wishes to you.

Thank you! Little did I dream while going through the healing process that I would end up writing about it.
